A Syrian director and writer, born in 1954. He received a master’s degree in directing cinematic and television feature films. He began his career in 1988 by working as an assistant director in the movie Ibn Awi's Nights, after which he went on to direct notable series, including The Turning, Things Like Love and Donia.
