A Syrian writer born in Damascus, Syria. He studied natural sciences, as well as screenwriting in Russia. He has two collections of short stories issued by the Syrian Ministry of Culture, namely "The Guest" and "The Lazy Boy". He presented a collection of poetry entitled "Watch the Planet". Some of his works include Population of the Wind (1992) and Maroof the Shoemaker (1992).
