A Tunisian actor and playwright. He started his career in journalism. He turned to the theater, then worked on the radio, then on the television, and in cinema. In 1954, he started his stage career with the Modern Theater Troupe which originated from the Radio Troupe. He acted in the plays Layla's Mad Lover and Man of the Hour) written by Youssef Wehbe. He also participated in Rashad and Zaineb, The Camel Laughed a Laugh, and My Aunt Aisha Is a Man. He died in 1998 of a heart attack.
