Born in Abbasseyya – Cairo, Amaal Fareed is an Egyptian actress who studied sociology. Child Amaal began her career with “Baba Sharo” in his famous Radio shows for children. Amaal won the “Al-geel” magazine acting competition and joined Faaten Hamaama in the film Rendezvous with Happiness. Fareed played a number of films before getting married to an Egyptian engineer; she retired from acting and went with her husband to live in Moscow. Many years after, Amaal returned to Egypt and participated in two films before retiring permanently.
