Amalia Abi Saleh, known as the character "Badour" in her comic roles, was born in 1946 in the town of Dhour El Choueir. She was the only daughter of Michel Abi Saleh, and her childhood was happy until her parents divorced. She appeared in a number of roles in TV and theater in the 60s and 70s. She became famous in the Lebanese artistic circles when she co-starred with the artist Shosho in comedic roles including: Professor Shosho.
