Moroccan novelist, screenwriter, and producer born in Tangier in 1947. He held several positions including Head of Moroccan TV (1984-1986), Head of Channel 2 (2000-2003), and Head of the Moroccan Film Center (2003-2014). He was also known for being a renowned film critic in Radio and television. He died due to COVID-related complications on 15 December 2020 in Casablanca.
