Egyptian-Lebanese musician and maestro. Born in Palestine in 1941. He grew up in Cairo. He studied music in Russia, where he obtained a certificate in conducting choral music from the Jensen Institute in 1971. In 1976 he obtained a diploma in conducting a symphony orchestra from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. He returned to Lebanon in 1977 to write musical articles that were published in well-known Lebanese and Arab newspapers and magazines. He worked as a music supervisor on the official Lebanese radio station. He founded several groups in Lebanon for adults and children, including the Beirut Arab Music Ensemble in 1980, before directing most of his attention to the National Ensemble for Arabic Music, which he founded and supervised in Cairo. He also founded several musical groups, including: (The Arab Creator Foundation), which he supervises and manages, and it is concerned with discovering and nurturing talents in the fields of singing, playing oriental instruments, composing and conducting the orchestra, as well as organizing technical workshops with the aim of raising the efficiency of musicians and holding seminars and conferences to spread musical awareness. .
