An Egyptian actor and wrtier, who was born in Salhiya, Faqous, Sharkia as Fouad Abdullah Nowera. He moved with his family to Cairo and settled in Abbasiya district. He became a screenwriter and worked as an actor for some time before he traveled to America. He is the brother of Abdel Halim Nowera - the founder of the Arab Music Ensemble and the brother-in-law of the late President Sadat. He is known for Antar and Abla (1945).
