Yahya Nagati was born in Cairo in 1908 and worked as an employee in the Postal Authority. Since the early 30s, he participated in some small roles, and also appeared in some theatrical plays with the George Abyad Troupe and others. He suffered with illness until he passed away on March 1960 at the age of 52.
