Naji Gabr, his older brother Mahmoud Gabr, participated in the end of the 60s in a number of television and theatrical works. He also appeared in a number of works by Mahmoud Gabr's band, including: A Fisherman and They Caught Me and The Catacombs of the Lost. He was known as Abu Antar when he co-starred with actor Duraid Lahham in the series Wake Up. He joined the Syrian Artists Syndicate in 1972.
