She is an Egyptian singer who was born during the thirties in Cairo and graduated from The Teachers School in 1959. She worked as a teacher for two years at Qasr Al-Nil School. Then, she joined the Balloon Theater and appeared in the play Al-Shater Hassan. She sang to various composers, including Muhammad Al-Mouji, Munir Murad and Abdel Azim Abdel Haq. She sang in the movie, Let Us Love (1975).
