An Egyptian writer, born on April 4, 1931 in Masr Al Jadidah, Cairo. She obtained a BA of Arts, Department of English Language and a diploma in translation from Cairo University. She worked at the Ministry of Economy and at the Capital Market Authority since her graduation and until the end of her service period. She received the Arab League Prize for co-writing the movie Cairo 30 (1966). Her most famous works are Case 68 (1968) and Caught in a Honey Trap (1977). She wrote the short-story collection, "A Woman Inside Me" and the novel "Endangered Life". She became a member of Cinematic Professions Syndicate, Women Writers Association, and Writers and Critics Association.
