He was born in Menoufia governorate and obtained a BA of Science, after which he joined the armed forces and served until the rank of major general. He fought in October war. He co-wrote the movie Wall of Heroism (1998) for his extensive experience as an air defense officer and his distinguished moral sense. He is currently living in the United States.
