An Egyptian singer and actress, born in Alexandria on February 16, 1916. She started singing in the twenties. In the mid thirties she worked in cinema and theater. Among her films: Doctor Farahat (1935), The White and the Black (1936) and Wealth Is Trouble ( 1937).
