Algerian writer born on January 9, 1925 in Mansoura, Bordj Bou Arréridj, Algeria. After he achieved his primary education, he joined the Kettanya school in Constantine and moved to Zaytuna Mosque in Tunis, after which he returned to Algeria. He held several positions, including the manager of the National Book Foundation and chairman of the Supreme Council of Culture. He wrote the movie Southern Winds. He passed away on October 26, 1996.
