An Egyptian director, born in 1931. He began his career in the late 1940s. He worked in cinema, theater and television. He also wrote the story and the screenplay for some of the films he directed. Among his films are The Smart Will Get It, 4-2-4, and Ragab on a Hot Tin. He passed away in 1992.
