An Egyptian actor and comedian, born in Giza. He earned his BA from the High Cinema Institute in 1991. He began his acting career in the play Doctor Zaatar and in the TV series Look for the Origin, and The Miser and I. He also performed in plays such as The Earthly Farce. Moreover, he succeeded in demonstrating his comedic talent through a minor role in Bakhit & Adeela, and achieved great success in Ismailia Back and Forth, thus redefining the landscape of Egyptian cinema in the late 90s. Soon afterwards he was recognized as a major star with high grossing movies.
