An Egyptian actor and theater director. He was born on May 9, 1966 in Cairo, and began his career in the eighties through a number of series and films, including Mr. Abo El-Ela El-Beshry's Journey (1985), and Busting Bakiza and Zaghloul (1988). After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering, he studied at the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts and graduated with a BA in Acting in 1990. The 90s was an important stage in his career, as his roles varied greatly, and in 2003 he played the role of former president Mohamed Anwar Sadat in the series The Leader of Preachers.


Mofid Ashour is an Egyptian actor who got famous with his supporting roles. He participated in two movies and 12 series. He proved a high performance in complicated and difficult roles. Moreover, he co-starred with many stars in a number of master pieces.
