Muhammed Kamel Hassan Al-Mohami, born on March 15, 1915, is a screenwriter, author, director and producer. He studied at the Police Academy and then at the Faculty of Law. He is considered the father of the Egyptian detective stories, as he presented many of them on radio and cinema. Love and Execution (1954) is one of his most famous radio series. Among the films he directed are Stronger Than Life (1960), and The Lost Son (1964), and among the films he wrote are Love from Heaven, and Wahiba the Gypsy Queen. Al-Mohami produced the movie The Promise in 1955 and passed away on April 5, 1979.
