An Egyptian actor, born in Zagazig in 1924. He obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts and then a diploma from the Institute of Education for Teachers 1949, to work as a teacher and then headmaster of the Saidia School. After he became the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, he joined the band "An Hour for Your Heart" and played the character of "Abu Lamaa". He debuted with the movie Bahbouh Effendi (1954), after which his works continued between cinema, television and theater, where his first series was Things to Forget (1972). He passed away in 2003.
