A famous French writer, reviewer and novelist, born in Paris November 24, 1808, and died on September 29, 1890. The first of Alphonse’s stories is the famous story Sous les Tilleuls, which was translated into Arabic by the late Manfaluti. This story was published in French in the year 1832. He wrote stories and other books, including Le chemin le plus court. Carr was the founder of the satirical magazine The Wasps, which was published between 1839-1876.
