He is an Egyptian political writer, born on September 11, 1917 in Minya al-Qamh, Sharkia Governorate. He holds a BA in Aeronautics and a BA in Military Sciences. He took part in various patriotic actions, including leading the movement to seize the weapons of the British army and supply the Egyptian army with weapons in the Canal region during the 1948 war. He married the artist, Layla Mourad and was known for co-writing the movie, Air Devils (1956). He died on April 5, 1994, at the age of 77.
