Born Kamalat Abbas Nessim in Alexandria, Amal Ramzi started her career as a TV and theater actress. She acted in several plays, the first of which is The Red Pajamas (1967). Her television appearances include: The Cave, the Illusion and Love (1989) and Shafiqa and Metwaly's Story (1993).
