He is an Egyptian actor, who firstly worked as a finance employee. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1949. He mostly played the role of a father. His notable film roles include: My Blood, My Tears and My Smile (1973), Meeting There (1976), and I'm Not Lying But I'm Beautifying (1981).
