• A Tunisian screenwriter and founder of the Carthage Film Festival in 1966, born in Sayada on January 5, 1927 , and died in Tunis on November 4, 2010. After obtaining a...Read more baccalaureate degree, he joined the Institute of Higher Studies in Tunis, and was one of the founders of the Tunisian Students Association in 1950. Upon his graduation, he worked as a teacher in secondary education in Sfax, then was assigned as Director of the Department of Cinema at the Ministry of Culture in the early sixties. He wrote Days of Carthage Film Festival... in It and at It (1998). He passed away a few days after being honored at the 23rd Carthage Film Festival. He was buried on November 5, 2010.
