An Egyptian director, cinematographer, and writer who was born on May 28, 1924. He joined the People's University, Department of Journalism in 1944. He worked as a clapper loader with director Henry Barakat in the movie The Punishment (1948). He worked as an assistant director with a number of directors since 1948, including Atef Salem, and Ibrahim Emara. He wrote the films No Return, and The Vengeful One. He died on December 1, 1986 at the age of 62.
