He is an Egyptian director and actor, who was born in 1971 in Cairo. He started his career in the nineties as an assistant director in a number of films, most notably, Destiny (1997). His acting debut was through the movie, The Immigrant (1994). He's known for The International (2009) and On Tipping Point (2012).
