An Egyptian cinematographer and director, who worked in many films and series. He is known for directing the play Lock Up Your Daughters for the television. He also directed the series Ghawayesh (1986). As a cinematographer, he worked in the movies Take Care of Your Mind (1985) and Barefoot On a Golden Bridge (1976). He died on March 14, 2009.
