An Egyptian writer who started writing short stories at an early age and joined the Reda Troupe for Folklore as a dancer after graduating from the Faculty of Commerce. He wrote his first play, Kafr Qassem in 1970, which was showcased on the Balloon Theater. He presented a number of TV plays that were shown and filmed in Tunisia with Lotfi El Zeiny. His film debut was Forgery of Official Papers (1984). His writing credits include Good Bye My Friend (1987) and Hell Below Water (1989). Afterwards, he focused on TV series such as Arrest Warrant (2001).
