Egyptian actor Raafat Fahim Abd El Nabi was born in Alexandria. He received a BA of Commerce in 1963 from Ain Shams University and worked as an employee at Cairo University. He became famous in a radio program and began his artistic career with the band, An Hour for Your Heart. He appeared in numerous roles in films and TV series, including Raafat Al-Haggan, and Bougy and Tamtam.
