He is an Egyptian actor, born in 1962 in Cairo. He made his debut in the 1982 movie, The Slaughterer. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1991. He appeared in numerous roles in film, TV and theater. He is known for The Nightingale (2006), and In Amina's Hands (2008).
