An Egyptian actor and writer, born in 1934. He began his artistic career in the sixties and worked in the cinema, on the radio and television. He made his debut in the 1965 movie Kill Me Please, and in the following year, appeared in the movie Forced Vacation. His most prominent television series include El Helmiya Nights, and Season of Flowers, while in the cinema he worked on Days of Sadat, and Escape to the Top. He also wrote some television specials, including My Daughter and the Days. He passed away in April, 2002.
