An Iraqi actress, who belonged to the forties' generation. She played the role of Alya in the Iraqi movie Alya and Essam (1949). In the fifties, she opened a nightclub in Karrada and devoted herself to singing in it, staying away from the radio and television. She retired in the late fifties.
