An Egyptian actor and presenter, born on January 28, 1923, in El Mahalla El Kubra. He obtained a BA in Philosophy and Sociology in 1946. He worked as a librarian at Alexandria University, and in 1950 he worked as a presenter on the General Program, then became director of the...Read more Department of Variety and Special Programs. When the television was established, he was transferred to the position of a variety observer and supervisor of music affairs. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Radio Art magazine. He traveled to the United States to study television and train in directing special programs. He also traveled to Saudi Arabia, Gaza, and Germany. Among his most famous radio programs are Try Your Luck, and The Archive. He participated as an actor in the movie The Captain of Egypt (1955). He died on August 25, 1978.
