An Egyptian singer, who was a left-wing political activist during the seventies, and was famous for singing a certain kind of revolutionary songs. She was the companion of the famous duo Ahmed Fouad Negm and Sheikh Imam for a long time, as she married Negm, and he wrote many poems for her.
