An Egyptian director of photography and director, who started his career as a cameraman in the 1984 movie My Loyal Friend. After that, he participated in more than 30 films as a cinematographer and a director of photography. In the nineties, he directed music videos for many singers, including Kadhim Al Sahir, and Latifa. His first feature film as a director was the 2005 film Mr. Abu Al-Araby Arrived, starring Hany Ramzy, with whom he collaborated again in the film The Mysterious Man (2010).
