He was born in Baghdad in 1925. He acted in many theatrical performances, such as A Bullet in the Heart, Princess of Chastity, The Traitorous Wife, and The Desert Flame. In 1976, he joined the National Acting Ensemble of the General Organization for Cinema and Theater and acted in some of its distinguished productions, such as Maqamat Abi Ward, Al-Mutanabi, and The Insane. On the cinema front, she appeared for the first time in the movie Alya and Essam. He also appeared in the movies Teswahen, and Return to the Countryside. He worked as an assistant director in the movies Afrat and Badr, and Gazelle. He wrote the story of the movie Sultana, which he directed himself.
