An Egyptian musician, born in Cairo in 1896. He studied playing the flute at the hands of Sheikh Ali El Darwish El Masry El Halabi, during his stay in Cairo, and he became one of the major flute players in Egypt, influencing many musicians, such as Mahmoud Effat. Aziz Sadek...Read more worked on introducing harmonic distribution to the works of composers, in the first half of the twentieth century. He also scored many films. After the screening of the movie Chant of Hope (1937), Aziz Sadek conducted the arrangement and led the orchestra, when Asmahan recorded the song I Intend to Conceal My Pain, composed by her brother Farid Al-Atrash in 1938, to be followed by Mohamed Abdel Wahab in the invitation of Aziz Sadek to lead the orchestra and arrange the melodies of the operetta Qais and Laila, which appeared in the context of the movie A Happy Day (1939).
