An Iraqi actor and writer, who graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Baghdad, and during his studies he founded a theatrical troupe called Jabr El Khawatir troupe, then in 1952 he founded the Modern Art Theater troupe with the great late artist Ibrahim Jalal. He made his film debut in Saeed Effendi (1957), after which his works continued in cinema, theater, and television as an actor and writer. Among his most prominent works are The Key, and The Blue Book. He participated in many international festivals such as the Carthage Theater Festival in 1985, the Experimental Theater Festival in Cairo in 1989, and the Cairo Festival Radio and Television in 2001.
