An Egyptian actress, was born on May 13, 1928 in the city of Fayoum. Her mother was a circus player, and she came from an artistic family, her brother is the actor and film battle executor Al-Toukhi Tawfik, and her aunt is one of the first actresses in Egypt, Samiha Al-Toukhi. She was discovered by the artist Youssef Wahbi and presented to the cinema. Her acting debut was in the 1944 movie Love and Revenge, starring Asmahan and Youssef Wehbe, and since that time she has appeared in many films, most notably: Bulbul Effendi, Hassan, Morcos and Cohen, Samara's Ghost.
