A pioneering Iraqi actor in theater, cinema, radio and television. He started his acting career with Haqqi Al-Shibli troupe in the 1920s. He appeared in several films, such as Alia and Essam, and Warda. He was characterized by his distinctive voice and realistic performance both in plays and films.
