An Egyptian director and screenwriter, born in 1911. At the beginning of his life, he worked as an assistant director with directors Ezz El Din Zou El Faqqar and Mahmoud Zou El Faqqar. He also acted in some artworks such as the movie Long Live the Ladies in 1943. After working as a director for some films, he returned to work an assistant director at the end of his life in 1958 with the movies Love Street and We're the Students. He directed his first film Son of the East in 1947 and the film is a co-produced with Iraq.
