An Egyptian director, who graduated from the Department of Cinematography at the Faculty of Applied Arts in 1956. He also did open studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, then continued his studies in Italy. Throughout his artistic career, he specialized in directing short documentaries that document many aspects of life in Egypt, which the Egyptian television was constantly showing, and among his most prominent works: Silence Talks, Twilight Fishing, and Martyr and Square.
