An Egyptian actor, famous for his supporting roles in Egyptian cinema. He started acting when one of his director friends visited him, whereupon he found himself in front of the cameras playing the role of one of the actors who couldn't show up, and that was in the 1949 movie The Big House, which was followed by others.
