An Egyptian actress and journalist, born in Cairo in 1936. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, English Department, and started her life as a journalist in the magazine Akher Sa’a, before she broke into the field of acting in 1960 by appearing in the movie Adolescents. Among her most notable roles: Reckless Youth and Confessions of a Husband. She retired from acting in the 80s.
