A film director and novelist, born in 1911. He worked as an assistant director with a number of directors, including Kamal El Sheikh and Youssef Chahine. He wrote and directed radio work and then television. One of his most famous works as a writer is the TV series Customs and Traditions (1972) . He worked as a production manager for many films since the beginning of the 40s. He died on January 21, 1978.
