A Lebanese/Egyptian singer, her full name is Souad Mohamed El Masri. She was born in Tal al-Khayat in Beirut in 1926 to an Egyptian father and a Lebanese mother. From there she moved to Cairo, and she only appeared in two films: A Girl from Palestine and I Am Alone. She continued to sing on the Egyptian radio. She died in 2011 of a heart attack.
