An Egyptian film producer and director, born on June 8, 1921. He started his cinematic career as an assistant director, then worked as a production manager for Aziz Amir Company, Nahas Studio, and the EMPC. He was the first to present Arabic film scope in colors. Among his notable works are the films The Empty Pillow, Al-Madak Alley, and Oh Islam. He died on February 4, 1977.
