A scriptwriter and film producer, who started his career in the 50s. His writing credits include Forever Yours (1959), My Beloved (1966) and The Prince (1984). He also produced the films A Man in My Life and The Flame. He is the second husband of actress Samira Ahmed, and the father of her only daughter, Jalila.
