His real name is Ahmed Ayyad, an Algerian actor and comedian of Berber origin. His debut was in the theater, before independence, where he presented plays with major playwrights in Algeria, such as Mustafa Kateb and Rachid Kentini. After independence, he worked in the Algerian National Theater and then moved to the cinema, where he became famous for the roles of Hassan Tiro and Hassan Al-Taxi.
